3 Naked Trees

3 naked trees

I seem to have a thing for trees in triplicate. This one reminds of junior high art class where we learned about print making using linocuts (where you etch cheap linoleum, slather it with ink and make prints). A scary prospect when you consider that the end result is a class of hormonally unbalanced kids with scalpels and no fine motor skills.

Black and white performed using the channel mixer--which I've decided is my preferred way of converting to BW--I then went crazy on the contrast using the curves function.

I love your description of the junior high art class. So true.
