Convocation Hall

convocation hall

Nikon D70 18-70mm at 1/60s and f4.5

Location: Convocatation Hall, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta
Distance: 2652 miles, 4268 km
Transportation: Plane

Built in 1912, this is considered to be an "old" building in Edmonton. When I was small, I was fascinated by this building because it seemed so ancient compared to everything else in town.

I love the clouds in this--they seem to radiate out from a single point. The sun is annoyingly low in the sky and throws off the lighting a bit, but that's Edmonton winters for you. I think this was taken around 3 pm.
