Auvers is the town where Vincent van Gogh spent his last few months. Despite living there only 3 months, he produced over 70 paintings of the town, its people and the surrounding farmland.
While not of the same cornfield, this random shot from my camera reminds me of one of his Auvers paintings, Wheat Field Under Cloudy Sky
