in a cavern

Location: Mammoth Caves National Park, KY

I went to this cave thinking it would have all these stalactites/stalagmites, but it doesn't. It's basically a big cavern where they mined for saltpeter (potassium nitrate). One part of the cavern overlooks a crevice with some interesting shadows, which I tried to photograph (somewhat unsuccessfully).

Despite my disappointment with this picture, I'm posting it anyways because I like the intention behind this photo; it's my first serious attempt with a faster lens and bad lighting; and I don't have another picture ready to post.
