Holding hands in the snow

holding hands in the snow

This may be the closest I'll ever get to seeing significant snow in Dallas. If you are having problems understanding how my heat addled brain works: the chains look like people holding hands while walking in the snow. The black graffiti looks like the footprints left behind in the snow.

Now only if it would snow in Dallas, I might be able to make it through this summer...

I love your stuff. You take pictures like I want to take pictures. Question: I see you are using blogger, as am I. How do you get your pics to be so large, with only one displayed at a time? My pics when uploaded are small with many showing at once. You've made some sort of template change, haven't you?

Daisy--thank you so much! That has got to be one of the nicest things anyone has said.

Blogger is not the best choice for displaying photos, and I wish I had started off using another host, like moveable type. I did have to tweak my template a lot, and it was mostly trial and error. Basically, I got rid of a lot of the margin settings in the template, but kept the previous posts listing. Under the settings/formatting tab, select only 1 post on the main page, and that will limit it to one picture at a time.

There are some sites that design cool templates for blogger, and this one is for photos. I haven't tried it, but it looks nice

As for pictures, I upload them onto a external host before pasting the image into blogger. If you use their "blog photo" feature, it will automatically resize them, which is annoying.

Hope this helps, email me if you have any more questions.
